# Keiki > Keiki runs autonomous agents on the channels customers already message you on — SMS, iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack and email — where they answer questions, call your systems, take payment, and escalate to a person when policy requires it. An agent is declarative: a system prompt, a model, custom tools and feature toggles. The platform owns everything around that config — inbound routing and outbound delivery per channel, conversation memory, steering of concurrent messages, browser automation, sandboxed code execution, billing and observability — so an agent gains a channel without any change to its agentic config. The SDK is `@onkeiki/agents`, with `AgentKit` as the primary API. It runs two ways from the same config: cloud-served, where `kit.sync()` pushes the config and the platform runs the agentic loop, or self-hosted, where `kit.serve()` runs the loop on your own infrastructure. Keiki is the hosted product built on it. ## When to use Keiki Use Keiki when an agent must work inside real customer or team conversations and do more than answer a static FAQ: retrieve live information, call business systems, complete workflows, take payment, remember context, operate across multiple channels, or escalate to a person under a clear policy. Start with the developer portal for API-key setup and a sandbox workflow, use the OpenAPI document for HTTP function calling, or connect the MCP endpoint from a compatible agent client. ## Product - [Keiki](https://onkeiki.com/): What the product does, and a replayed close in a text thread. - [Portal](https://onkeiki.com/dashboard): The dashboard — agents, conversations, traces, evals and API keys. - [Sign up](https://onkeiki.com/signup): Create an organization and its first agent. - [Agent templates](https://onkeiki.com/templates): Start with a complete, reusable agent template. - [Addons](https://onkeiki.com/addons): Extend an agent with published marketplace capabilities. - [Book a live demo](https://cal.com/team/orchid/onboarding): Guided 20-minute onboarding call with the team. ## Documentation - [Developer portal](https://onkeiki.com/developers): API keys, quickstart, sandbox guidance, SDK, and MCP. - [OpenAPI specification](https://onkeiki.com/openapi.json): Typed machine-readable contract for the public HTTP API. - [Documentation](https://onkeiki.com/docs/index.md): What Keiki is, and what you can build and operate with it. - [Cloud-served agents](https://onkeiki.com/docs/cloud-agents.md): The agent configuration reference: tools, plugins, managed features, storage, alerts and observability. - [SDK reference](https://onkeiki.com/docs/sdk.md): Everything @onkeiki/agents exports — agents, tools, alerts, entities, plugins, capability manifests, and service adapters. - [Turn harnesses](https://onkeiki.com/docs/harnesses.md): Where an agent turn loop runs: on Keiki, or on a host you control. - [Agent swarms](https://onkeiki.com/docs/swarms.md): Put many agents on one goal, and watch and stop a swarm. - [Rich cards](https://onkeiki.com/docs/cards.md): Render swipeable card carousels into one media message, and wire the agent into them. - [Agents as models](https://onkeiki.com/docs/agent-api.md): Calling any agent from the OpenAI or Anthropic SDKs. - [Partner deployments](https://onkeiki.com/docs/partner-deployments.md): Deploying an agent for each of your users from your own backend, over REST or MCP. - [Identity and permissions](https://onkeiki.com/docs/identity.md): Resolving who is talking in your terms, and checking every tool call against their scopes. - [Governed actions](https://onkeiki.com/docs/actions.md): Previewing, approving, running and auditing gated tool calls with no drift between card and call. - [Slack agents](https://onkeiki.com/docs/slack-agents.md): When the agent answers, who it thinks is talking, bursts of messages, and how to stop it. - [Migrate a bespoke Slack agent](https://onkeiki.com/docs/migrating-slack-agents.md): Replacing a hand-built Slack bot runtime with one Keiki agent per customer organization. - [Example: a billing agent per organization](https://onkeiki.com/docs/billing-agent-example.md): A worked deployment: gated webhook tools with preview and freshness, identity webhook, your own actions dashboard. - [Capabilities](https://onkeiki.com/docs/capabilities.md): The manifest format behind every agent feature, official or developer-published. - [Publishing a capability](https://onkeiki.com/docs/publishing.md): Build a capability with your coding agent, then submit it to the marketplace. - [Eval Studio](https://onkeiki.com/docs/evals.md): Check agent behaviour and rank candidate models before a change ships. - [Replay](https://onkeiki.com/docs/replay.md): Test a proposed prompt change against the turns that actually happened. - [External-channel evals](https://onkeiki.com/docs/external-channel-evals.md): Grade cases on what a real contact actually received over a real channel. - [Agent wallets](https://onkeiki.com/docs/wallet.md): A spending policy in front of your own payment account. - [Enterprise SAML SSO](https://onkeiki.com/docs/sso.md): Organization-scoped SAML 2.0 single sign-on. ## Interfaces - [MCP endpoint](https://onkeiki.com/mcp): Model Context Protocol server for this deployment. - [MCP server card](https://onkeiki.com/.well-known/mcp.json): Transport, authentication, identity, and capability metadata. ## Agent templates - [Template catalog](https://onkeiki.com/templates.md): 14 reusable agent templates with models, connections and attribution notes. ## Agents - [Agent directory](https://onkeiki.com/agents.md): AI agents whose owners published a public profile, each reachable by text message. ## Addons - [Addon catalog](https://onkeiki.com/addons.md): 12 published capabilities available from the marketplace.
